• Document Metadata: Information related to the uploaded documents, such as file type, creation date, and other relevant properties.

• Categorisation Data: Tags or groupings assigned to documents during the library creation process to facilitate structured analysis.

• To fulfil a contract with you or take steps at your request before this:

• Providing you with access to the Services

• Providing information and technical support if you ask for this

• Processing information provided to generate Idea sparks, Insights and Action plans

Document Library Creation and Processing

All document processing is conducted under strict supervision by our expert team and used solely for the explicit purposes identified in the app service.

We use the documents you upload to:

• Clean and normalise data to ensure its quality and relevance for analysis.

• Categorise and organise materials into a bespoke library for targeted or comprehensive exploration.

• Facilitate innovation analysis by allowing users to focus on specific document categories or the full library.

You in formation may also be used as required by us to conduct our business and pursue our legitimate interests:

• Giving our customers access to the Services

• Providing dynamic content within the Services, depending on how you use that product or Services.

• Letting you know about our products and Services by post, email, and phone in accordance with your marketing preferences and law relating to direct marketing.

Where no user account is created 

our apps do not store original material uploaded by the user.  In this instance, 

• documents uploaded are retained only for the duration of their relevance to the user’s active project. 

• Once the analysis is complete or the user requests deletion, all files and associated metadata are securely deleted, unless retention is required by law.

• The extracted summary content is not saved permanently on any of our storage mediums. It is only temporarily held in the application's memory for the duration of the processing.

Where a user account is created 

Information and documents uploaded to create a library are retained only for the duration of their relevance to the user’s active project. 

• Once the analysis is complete or the user requests deletion, all files and associated metadata are securely deleted, unless retention is required by law.

• When uploading information to our app, you remain the proprietary owner of the data you provide. 

• Our apps retain personal information it collects from you where there is an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with access to the Services, or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements).

When there is no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

Processing of data includes sending the extracted user information to our paid account with OpenAI’s API Services. 

OpenAI does not use data from APIs to train their algorithms and does not retain any ownership of data processed via their API.
